October 2012, Detroit, MI – The Youth Connection, a Detroit-based 501(c)(3) non-profit agency, announces the promotion of Renée Thomas for the position of Program Coordinator for the new Macomb County contract.

Ms. Thomas will be responsible for the day to day delivery of direct services to participants in workforce development programs in Macomb County leading efforts to establish relationships with employers and facilitate interviews and job placement of program participants.

Ms. Thomas holds a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from Wayne State University. Ms. Thomas was originally hired in February as the Database Program Manager and served temporarily as the Substance Abuse Prevention Program Manager.
