| Description of Summer Program (500 chars. max) | The Program Beating Odds Mentoring Program is 8 weeks on Saturdays from 2:30 to 4:30 pm. Topics to be discussed are Behavior Modification, Effective Communication, Anger Management, Image and Appearance, Resisting Negative Peer Pressure - Bullies, Conflict Resolution, Decision Making Skills, Responsibility/Accountability, Routine Homework/Habits, Assistance with Academics. Each student receives a workbook. Classes are held in a fun setting. |
