COVID-19 Links for Youth and Families
Wayne Metro CARES Relief & Recovery Services
Detroit Public Schools Community District (DSPCD)
DSPCD has information on their website for the following topics:
- DPSCD Students to recieve wireless tablets and internet service.
- Grab and Go Breakfast and Lunch at 19 schools in Detroit Mondays & Thursdays from 8AM - 1PM.
- Academic Support (At Home Academic packets) and other resources to help students learn while out of school.
- Homework Hotline.
- Links to other COVID-19 resources.
Comast Internet Essentials
Comcast is offering 2 months of free high speed internet connectivity through it's internet essentials program to help keep students and parent connected during the COVID-19 outbreak.
City of Detroit
The City of Detroit website has information for all Detroit residents about COVID-19 including:
- City Department resources for COVID-19
- Recreation Centers and Senior Centers offering Grab and Go Meals for youth and seniors
- Information on other City resources for those affected by COVID-19
Gleaner's Community Food Bank of Southeast Michigan
Gleaner's is still operating food distribution sites throughout Detroit. For information on the closest food pickup date/times, click the gleaners image!
Detroit Wayne Integrated Health Network (DWIHN)
The Detroit Wayne Integrated Health Network is doing everything it can to communicate accurate information to its Members, Providers and the Community in the wake of the COVID-19/Coronavirus Pandemic.
Wayne County
The Wayne County website has information affecting citizens of Wayne County (including Detroit) on COVID-19.
